8 and 9 Apr 2025 deputies and local volunteer fire department personnel responded to three separate calls to homes where subjects were deceased. These were in Marietta, Wesley, and Dunham Townships.
10 Apr 2025 at approximately 0225 hours Sgt. Parks was dispatched to Millgate Road, Muskingum Township, to a report of Brandon Craig McIntire breaking into a residence, and then absconding. McIntire continued to text and come to the residence even after he was trespassed from the residence. McIntire banged on doors and windows before kicking in a side door, causing damage. McIntire entered the residence and went through the entire residence. The resident hid and upon looking to see where McIntire was, found him to be standing in front of the door. McIntire made a derogatory statement about the victim “calling them again” referring to law enforcement. Previously, 7 Apr 2025 McIntire came to the residence and wanted to talk. McIntire was told to leave multiple times. McIntire was leaving and mouthed words to the effect of causing serious harm to the victim. The owner of the property had trespassed McIntire from the property days prior to 10 Apr 2025 due to the problems he had been causing. A warrant was requested and issued through Marietta Municipal Court for Brandon Craig McIntire, age 28, 215 Valley Mills Road, Parkersburg, WV, for burglary, aggravated menacing, criminal damaging, and trespassing.
10 Apr 2025 Sgt. Parks began an investigation into stolen firearms in Muskingum Township. This investigation is ongoing.
The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 10 Apr 2025:
Makayla Christine McAtee, age 27, Marietta, OH, possession of fentanyl, a felony.
Stratton Wade Johnson, age 34, Marietta, OH, permitting drug abuse and possession of drugs, both felonies.
There are currently 32 women and 108 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
