Security and Transport
The first and primary responsibility of S&T (Security and Transport) is the security of the Courthouse. S&T operates the security checkpoint at the entrance to the Courthouse, patrols the Courthouse during the hours it is open, provides security for Court hearings, and transports inmates to their Court hearings and back to the Jail. S&T also maintains/checks the panic alarms in each Courthouse office and responds when panic alarms are activated.
The transport aspect of S&T involves traveling throughout the United States to bring persons back to our jurisdiction when a warrant has been issued for their arrest. We are also responsible for transporting Jail inmates to medical appointments. We transport inmates to Prison when they are sentenced through our Courts.
