5 Apr 2025 Deputy Tucker responded to a report of an unruly child, damaging property, and running away.  This investigation is ongoing.

7 Apr 2025 Deputy Huffer was dispatched to he Village of Beverly in reference to damage done at Dodge Park, along with street signs. This investigation is ongoing.

7 Apr 2025 Deputy Welch was dispatched to Warren Township in reference to damage done to business trucks.  This investigation is ongoing.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 8 Apr 2025:

Elmer Charles Albert Wenzel, age 34, Reno, OH, contempt of court.

Justin Wayne Fore, age 44, Charleston, WV, identity fraud, a felony.

Jacob J Hall, age 45, Marietta, OH, parole violation, a felony.

George Edward McAtee, Jr., age 50, Marietta, OH, contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear, all misdemeanors.

Anthony Cameron Williams, age 51, sex offender failure to verify/change address, 2 charges, both felonies.

 There are currently 33 women and 123 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
