17 Jan 2025 deputies responded to Barlow Township to the scene of a deceased subject.

17 Jan 2025 Deputy Thornberry began an investigation into a stolen check from Adams Township.  This case remains under investigation. 

17 Jan 2025 Deputy Welch began an investigation into a stolen license plate from Barlow Township.

17 Jan 2025 Deputy Welch began an investigation in Belpre Township regarding a theft of money through a scam.   This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 23 Jan 2025:

Anya Chaineea Horsey, age 33, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Samantha Jo Paugh, age 37, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Arden Randoll Stewart, age 32, Little Hocking, OH, theft, Meigs County charge.

There are currently 25 women and 94 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
