18 Jan 2025 Deputy Boyd was dispatched to a potential domestic violence call on Oxbow Road, Dunham Township.  Derek Miller stated there had been no physical altercation, however the victim reported that while sitting on the couch Miller had kicked her foot, as well as attempting to kick her broken arm, however he missed.  Derek Dwayne Miller, age 45, Vincent, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with domestic violence.

21 Jan 2025 Deputy Norris began an investigation into damage done to a vehicle in the Village of Beverly.  This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 24 Jan 2025:

William Chase Foss, age 33, Beverly, OH, disrupting public service, a felony, OVI alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, domestic violence, stop sign violation, open container, and probation violation, all misdemeanors. 

Brian Keith Edgar, age 38, Whipple, OH, 2 counts aggravated trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, trafficking, aggravated possession of a fentanyl related compound, and possession of fentanyl, all felonies.

Brittany Dawn Lane, age 38, Vincent, OH, breach of recognizance and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

Kaleb Michael Bennett, age 23, Delaware, OH, assault and unlawful restraint, both misdemeanors.

Bryce Aaron Dotson, age 20, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Amanda Renee Hinton, age 45, Belpre, OH, contempt of court, a misdemeanor.

Douglas Eric Woodall Jr., age 26, Waterford, OH, disrupting public service, a felony, and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 25 women and 95 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
