10 Jan 2025 Deputy Norris was dispatched to Independence Township in regards to Karen Brunoni stating that Quinton Humphrey had just punched Augustine Brunoni in the face.  Deputy Norris met with the Brunonis who advised that they went to gather the rest of their belongings from a residence.  Karen states she went due to the power supply being in her name and she went to shut it off.  The Brunonis advised within minutes of getting there Humphrey “sucker punched” Augustine in the face,  which ensued a tussle with all three parties outside.  With assistance from Deputy Derkin, contact was made with Humphrey.  Humphrey stated that Karen and Augustine came to the residence uninvited.  He stated Karen shoved a subject at that location against the wall and turned the main breaker off, as Augustine began gathering items. Humphrey further advised they told them to leave, at which time Augustine approached him aggressively and Karen grabbed him by his hoodie, pulling him backwards, causing them to slip on the snow.  Humphrey denied ever throwing a direct punch towards Augustine but did admit a brief scuffle occurred and then Karen and Augustine left.  After gathering information for this investigation it was determined that disorderly conduct charges would be filed on all subjects, and they would be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court.  The subjects are Quinton Michael Humphrey, age 26, Karen S. Brunoni, age 66, and Augustine Brunoni Jr., age 44.
