31 Mar 2025 during a follow up investigation by detectives, Kimberly Dawn Eddy, age 39, Marietta, OH, was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of fentanyl.  Eddy was located at a local establishment and placed under arrest.  Taken as evidence was a bag of suspected methamphetamine weighing 21.31 grams.   Both charges are 1st degree felonies.

31 Mar 2025 Deputy Wallace was on patrol when she observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop.  After speaking with the occupant(s), K9 Mauser was deployed to conduct a free air sniff.  Mauser gave a positive indication on the passenger side of the vehicle.  Deputy Wallace recovered large amounts of drug paraphernalia and a baggie of suspected methamphetamines and fentanyl.  This evidence will be tested and charges are pending until those results are available.

31 Mar 2025 Deputy Groves was advised that Aaron Lance had abandoned animals along SR 821 near Whipple. Lance was asked to take the animals to the Humane Society due to their aggressive behavior.  Lance removed the dog on 29 Mar 2025 and took the dogs to Whipple and dumped them out. These dogs match the description of two dogs that were found as strays in the 6000 block of SR 821, Fearing Township on that same date.  1 Apr 2025 Deputy Groves met with Lance who advised he dumped them along SR 821 near Whipple. Lance advised that he would not take the dogs back home due to the dogs being aggressive with his child.   A summons is being requested through Marietta Municipal Court for Aaron M. Lance, LKA: Macksburg, OH, on a charge of abandoning animals.

Jasiah Anthony Lucas, age 20, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

John Douglas Pugh, age 45, Marietta, OH, inducing panic, a felony, menacing,  disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, all misdemeanors.

Darren Craig Farnese, age 30, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Alison Blake Hinton, age 37, Beverly, OH, conspiracy to trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, both felonies.

Steven Dale Hinton, age 57, failure to comply with order or signal of PO, elude or flee, a felony.

There are currently 31 women and 111 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
