12 Apr 2025 Deputy Boyd began an investigation into a theft from a vehicle in Waterford Township. This case investigation continues.
13 Apr 2025 Deputy Thornberry began an investigation into items dumped on another’s property in Marietta Township. This case investigation continues.
13 Apr 2025 Deputy Boyd was dispatched to the MMH Belpre ER to a report of an assault which occurred in Dunham Township earlier this date. The victim advised that they were punched in the face by Matthew Foraker, 1460 McGill Road, Vincent, OH, after an attempt to wake him. Contact was attempted at the residence to meet with Foraker. Deputy Boyd approached the door and after knocking, observed Foraker running through the yard in the back of the property. Deputy Boyd pursued Foraker and gave commands for him to stop. Foraker continued to a neighboring residence before he stopped and surrendered. Foraker was placed under arrest and advised of his Miranda Rights. Matthew Ronald Foraker, age 41, was charged with domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
13 Apr 2025 Deputy Thornberry conducted a traffic stop at 7665 State Route 339, Barlow Township, on a 2003 Chevy pickup bearing Ohio registration for improperly displaying the vehicle’s license plate. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Brian Fox. A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the vehicle. In plain view was an open container of beer in the center console. While speaking with Mr. Fox he stated “you got me.” Later after making that statement, Fox admitted to having a few beers before he was pulled over. SFSTs were conducted with Fox, in which he requested to stop the tests before they were completed. A BAC was administered at the Marietta Police Department with the results being .144. Brian M. Fox, age 51, 14750 Waterford Road, Waterford, OH, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Sabrina Elaine Milliron, age 37, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Gary Alex Freed, age 50, Big Springs, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
Calvin James Martin, age 52, Marietta, OH, driving under suspension, contempt of court, expired plates, and no seatbelt, all misdemeanors.
Rebecca Renee Neal, age 38, Belpre, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.
There are currently 27 women and 95 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
