 30 Dec 2024 Deputy Thornberry conducted a theft investigation into a sign being removed from a business.  Later it was determined that the wind possibly took the sign as it was located a short distance away.  No crime occurred.

 3 Jan 2024 Deputy Derkin recovered marijuana and THC vape pens.  These items have been set for disposal.

 3 Jan 2024 Deputy B Gerber was dispatched to Dunham Township in reference to a report of a female causing problems.  It was then determined that Tresa Wolfe, the caller, had been involved in a verbal argument.  Wolfe was on a rampage and kicked and pushed the victim to the ground.  A witness intervened to keep Wolfe from getting on top of the victim.   Tresa M. Wolfe, age 61, 2425 Congress Road, Belpre, OH, was transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.

Diana Kay Parks, age 52, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Keith Lamar Bowers, age 54, Columbus, OH, possession of drugs, 2 counts both felonies, Franklin County, OH.

Dallas Christopher Ousley, age 40, McArthur, OH, tampering with evidence and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.

Jill Kristin Bolden, age 43, Parkersburg, WV, receiving stolen property and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.

There are currently 23 women and 86 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
