1 Apr 2025 Deputy Norris began an investigation in Adams Township involving a boat and trailer that were stolen. Other items of value were also removed from the property. This investigation is ongoing.
3 Apr 2025 deputies along with the Salem Fire Department personnel responded to the scene of a deceased individual.
3 Apr 2025 at approximately 2127 hours Deputy Venoy was dispatched Fifth Street, Adams Township to a report of a domestic incident with Ian Lockhart. The complainant reported that Lockhart smacked them across the face, causing a busted lip, and then pushed them to the ground. While on the ground Lockhart grabbed the complainant’s arms restraining them from getting up for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Once the complainant was able to retrieve their phone they called for help. Lockhart however grabbed the phone and threw it down the hall. Lockhart met officers and declined to comment on the incident. Ian Kenneth Lockhart, age 26, Fifth Street, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence, unlawful restraint, and disrupting public service. Lockhart was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Michael Josef Farmer, age 34, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs, a felony, and grand theft, a misdemeanor.
Raymond Floyd Goodwin, II, age 31, Marietta, OH, possession of fentanyl, possession of drugs and breach of recognizance, all felonies.
Samantha Raelle Park, age 32, Belpre, OH, inducing panic, a misdemeanor, having weapons while under disability and obstructing official business, both felonies.
Ian Kennedy Lockhart, age 26, Lowell, OH, domestic violence, unlawful restraint, both misdemeanors, and disrupting public service, a felony
There are currently 30 women and 113 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
