15 Mar 2025 Deputy Wallace began an investigation into a theft of currency from a residence in Adams Township.  This case is continuing.

16 Mar 2025 at approximately 1907 hours Sgt. Stillson was patrolling southbound on State Route 7 at Drag Strip Road in Belpre Township when he observed a black Ford Fusion with no registration travelling in the same direction.  A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was found to be Thomas Nicholas Jordan.  Confirmation of Jordan’s identity was confirmed along with the multiple active warrants for his arrest. A search of Jordan was conducted locating 2 glass smoking devices with residue and a small capsule.  Jordan advised the capsule had meth in it at one time.  The other occupant, Willison Chester Lockhart, was removed from the vehicle after a positive indication from K-9 Mauser. During a search of Lockhart’s person, a glass smoking device with residue was located stuffed in his boot. After reading the Miranda Rights to Lockhart, he advised he had placed the pipe in his shoe after seeing law enforcement behind them. .21 grams of suspected methamphetamine was also located in a small container.  Thomas Nicolas Jordan, age 30, 4861 N Torch Road, Coolville, OH, was charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.  Jordan was also arrested and held on the multiple arrest warrants.  Willison Chester Lockhart, age 51, 28430 Torch Road, Coolville, OH, was charged with illegal use or possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs and tampering with evidence.   

17 Mar 2025 Deputy Wallace and K-9 Mauser, while on patrol in the 100 block of Seventh Street, Pioneer Township, observed a silver Chevy Malibu bearing Kentucky registration go approximately 2 car lengths past the stop bar, and appeared to be in the intersection of Putnam Street. A traffic stop was initiated by activation of the patrol vehicle lights, and the vehicle continued onto north Seventh Street, then stopping in the middle of the roadway.  Deputy Wallace announced via the PA system for the driver to pull in to the parking lot to the right of their location.  Deputy Wallace then parked the cruiser and walked up to the driver and asked him to pull into the parking lot on the right.  The vehicle continued driving to the intersection of Wooster Street.  At this time not only were the emergency lights activated, but Deputy Wallace utilized the siren as well.  Contact was then made with the driver, Feliciano Perez, who advised he did not speak English.  Perez was asked to step out of the vehicle and at that time Bud Light beer cans were observed inside the vehicle.  Deputy Gerber, assisting with the stop, advised he detected the odor of alcohol beverages coming from the vehicle and Perez.  The SFST administration guide instructions were given to Perez in Spanish and he attempted the HGN.  Perez did not follow the directions for this test.  Perez advised Deputy Wallace he had one drink.  Feliciano Perez, age 32, 506 Pike Street, Marietta, OH, was transported to the Marietta PD to conduct a BAC with the results being .139.    Perez was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

17 Mar 2025 Deputy Davis began an investigation into a financial scam in Barlow Township.  This investigation is continuing.  

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 19 Mar 2025:

Travis Ray Preston, age 43, Paintsville, KY, possession of heroin, trafficking in heroin, both felonies, OVI, possession of drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and driving in marked lanes, all misdemeanors. 

Michael Warren Westfall, age 53, Parkersburg, WV, contempt of court, 3 counts, all felonies, and failure to comply, a misdemeanor.

Michael James Lemasters, age 22, McConnelsville, OH, parole violation, a felony.

Niaire Danali Clipper, age 20, Barberton, OH, trafficking in drugs - fentanyl, trafficking in a fentanyl related compound, 2 counts possession of a fentanyl related compound, all felonies.

Antione Timothy Dortch, age 19, Akron, OH, possession of fentanyl related compound and trafficking in drugs - fentanyl, both felonies.

There are currently 28 women and 109 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
