14 Jan 2025 Deputy B. Gerber was dispatched to Adams Township, in reference to a possible domestic dispute with Landon Lauer.  The complainant stated that while attempting to get ready to leave for a meeting, Lauer was told he needed to get up and get ready.  Lauer got very angry, walked out to the front porch, struck the house with a stick, causing damage to the siding.   When questioned about that, Lauer replied by yelling derogatory words repeatedly.  Lauer then, with two hands, shoved her causing her to fall into the door.  Landon Allen Lauer, age 18, Macksburg, OH, was charged with domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

14 Jan 2025 at approximately 19:36 hours Deputy Boyd was dispatched to Fairfield Township in regards to a complaint.  Brittany Lane was reported to have grabbed the complainant in the face, scratching him during an argument.   Lane admitted to doing this to the complainant.  Brittany Lane, age 38, 4235 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, OH, on a charge of domestic violence. 

The following individual(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 15 Jan 2025:

Clayton Larwence Hunt, age 53, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Melissa Dawn Wolfe, age 50, Parkersburg, WV, theft and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.

Landon Allen Lauer, age 18, Macksburg, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 24 women and 86 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
