5 Mar 2025 while traveling westbound on State Route 550 near Johnson Road, Warren Township, Deputy Huffer observed Chavazze Kidder operating a red 2 door vehicle.  Deputy Huffer was aware that Kidder had a suspended license.  A traffic stop was conducted and Kidder was asked for his driver’s license.  Kidder advised he did not have one and dispatch confirmed Kidder is actively suspended.  A citation was issued to Kidder, 653 Johnson Road, Marietta, OH, for driving under suspension.

7 Mar 2025 Deputy Boyd recovered drugs/paraphernalia from a local business.  These will be marked for destruction.

8 Mar 2025 Deputy Norris and Deputy Davis began an investigation into damage to vehicles in Warren Township.  Both subjects signed a refusal to prosecute. 

9 Mar 2025 Deputy Gainer began an investigation in Muskingum Township regarding stolen lottery tickets.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 7 Mar 2025 and 10 Mar 2025:

Stephen Eugene Morris, age 43, Belpre, OH, obstructing justice, a misdemeanor.

Joshua Don Martin, age 44, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Carl Edward Rouse, III, age 47,  Marietta, OH, trespassing in a habitation, a felony.

Michael Edward Grayson, age 37, probation violation, a felony.

Paul Edward Dickinson, Jr., age 42, Zanesville, OH, tampering with evidence and possession of cocaine, both felonies.

Dominick Matthew Beaver, age 21, Marietta, OH, violate protection order, a misdemeanor.

Daniel Allen Rohr, age 30, Little Hocking, OH, breaking and entering, a felony.

William Alan Sanders, age 41, Rural Hall, NC, 2 counts tampering with evidence, obstructing official business, theft, all felonies, and failure to comply, a misdemeanor.

Christopher Eugene Hooper, age 50, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

There are currently 29 women and 101 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
