24 Feb 2025 Deputy Huffer began an investigation into a theft in Belpre Township.  This investigation is ongoing.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 25 Feb 2025:

Zachary Alan Johnson, age 24, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony, and probation violation, a misdemeanor. 

Zane Aaron Walker, age 43, Belmont, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor, and strangulation, a felony.

Bobby Leroy Anderson, age 65, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 27 women and 100 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
