4 Feb 2025 Deputy Groves began investigations in Fairfield Township and Pioneer Township for 3 different dog bites.

6 Feb 2025 Deputy Wallace began a burglary investigation in Decatur Township.   

8 Feb 2025 Jail Lt. Timberman was made aware of a broken sprinkler head in one of the dorms, which was done by Dance D. Grahame, a current inmate.  Officers determined there was not a fire, and then determined Grahame intentionally broke a sprinkler head in the shower.  This activated the jail sprinkler and fire alarms causing a disruption in the daily jail operations.  A charge of vandalism and inducing panic are being filed on Dance Dale Grahame, age 23, 231 Sheldon Avenue, Marietta, OH.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail between 10 Feb 2025:

Kevin Michael Dearth, age 30, Belpre, OH, domestic violence, unlawful restraint and using weapons while intoxicated, all misdemeanors. 

Christopher Eric Drayer, age 55, Beverly, OH, 3 counts strangulation and domestic violence, all felonies.

Gary Dale Ball, age 49, Parkersburg, WV, receiving stolen property, a felony.

Jack William Longfellow, age 50, Marietta, OH, obstructing justice, a felony.

David Paul Hamilton, age 43, Parkersburg, WV, OVI, driving under OVI suspension and left of center, all misdemeanors.

Angela Stephanie Diane Johnson, age 51, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

There are currently 23 women and 105 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
