Douglas Sullivan arrested for Involuntary Manslaughter

20 Feb 2025 Sgt. Dolly requested the Marietta Municipal Court issue a warrant for the arrest of Douglas Brion Sullivan on a charge of 1st degree felony involuntary manslaughter.

The involuntary manslaughter charge stems from an investigation that began on 15 Dec 2023 when detectives responded to Waterford Township to Danaus Michael Rohrer (25 years old) being found deceased in his home.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office was contacted to conduct an autopsy that revealed Rohrer died of a drug overdose: fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Through investigative techniques Douglas Sullivan was found to be the last person to sell Rohrer illegal narcotics.

20 Feb 2025 detectives met with Sullivan at his home.  Sullivan agreed to speak with officers and admitted to providing illegal narcotics to Danaus Rohrer on 15 Dec 2023, which resulted in his death. Sullivan added that he knew what he did was wrong.

20 Feb 2025 after receiving the warrant for Sullivan, detectives returned to the Sullivan home, 5852 Johnson Ridge Road, Waterford, OH, and served Douglas Brion Sullivan, the arrest warrant for involuntary manslaughter.

Sullivan, age 61, was transported to the Washington County Jail where he remained until his appearance in Marietta Municipal Court.

Sullivan remains incarcerated on $150,000 bond plus PR.
