16 Nov 2023 the following written/verbal traffic citations were issued:   equipment, lanes of travel, marked lanes, turn signal usage, stop bar, lights required at night, traffic control device, and speed.

16 Nov 2023 deputies completed sex offender compliance checks, residence checks, attempted/served civil process and/or warrants, conducted extra patrol requests, and school checks.

16 Nov 2023 a deputy stopped to check on an injured deer.

16 Nov 2023 a deputy responded to a deer in the roadway in Warren Township.

16 Nov 2023 deputies responded to the VA clinic to assist individuals there.

16 Nov 2023 a deputy spoke with an individual who was scammed out of money for solar panels.

16 Nov 2023 a resident required assistance with property exchange.

16 Nov 2023 a deputy met with a resident in reference a stolen vehicle.

16 Nov 2023 an alarm was reported in Muskingum Township.

Shawn Eugene Covey, age 46, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and strangulation, a felony.

Jeffrey Allan Friesner, age 49, Lancaster, OH, contempt of court.

Skyler Michael Paul, age 31, Marietta, OH, Parole violation, a felony.

Kyle Anthony Davis, age 28, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Christopher Allen Peyton, age 34, Marietta, OH, operating vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs,  domestic violence, both felonies, violate protection order, 2 counts, both misdemeanors.

Joshua Alan Beaver, age 43, New Matamoras, OH, misuse of credit cards, theft of credit cards, both felonies.

There are currently 19 women and 86 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
