9 Nov 2023 inmate Amandaria Dawn Haseleu was found to have an active warrant out of the Magistrate Court of Monongalia County, West Virginia.  The warrant was filed on November 3, 2023, for fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a vehicle showing a reckless indifference to safety of others.  Haseleu was identified by her DOB and SSN and confirmed as the subject wanted for those charges.  Fugitive from justice charges were filed on Amandaria Dawn Haseleu, age 44, 308 Arrons Creek Road, Morgantown, WV.

9 Nov 2023 Deputy Young was dispatched to State Route 676, Watertown Township, to a report of Aaron Freeman Farnsworth having punched an individual in the head.  Farnsworth was reported to be intoxicated.  Farnsworth advised officers he had returned home from his father’s residence where he had consumed alcohol, and at that time got into a verbal argument, but nothing physical took place.  Farnsworth, age 38, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.  Farnsworth was transported to the Washington County Jail where he tested .161 on the PBT.  

9 Nov 2023 Sgt. Parks, while on patrol in the 900 block of Gilman Avenue, Pioneer Township, observed a Toyota Tacoma traveling north at an accelerated rate of speed.  The truck, registered to Richard Lee Polch, 9671 State Rt. 534, Middlefield, Ohio, was followed and paced at 57 mph in a 35 mph zone.  Near the intersection of Groves Avenue the truck slowed to 38 mph, and then began to accelerate again. A traffic stop was conducted on the driver/sole occupant, Richard Lee Polch.  Polch had an odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person,, along with the inside of the vehicle.  Polch’s eyes also appeared to be glassy.  Polch stated he was in the area hunting, and was returning to his cabin.  When asked if he had consumed alcohol, he stated he consumed two beers while at dinner, and did not know he was speeding as he was unsure of the posted speed limit.  Polch performed poorly on the SFST and was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with OVI.

9 Nov 2023 two 911 hang up calls were received.

9 Nov 2023 deputies along with the Beverly Police Department responded to an alarm in Beverly, Ohio.  This was found to be accidental.

9 Nov 2023 a welfare check was conducted in Belpre Township.  Everything was found to be okay.

9 Nov 2023 a dog running loose was reported in Marietta Township.

10 Nov 2023 six 911 hang up calls were received.

10 Nov 2023 the following written/verbal traffic citations were issued:  speed, marked lanes,  and equipment.

10 Nov 2023 deputies and local fire departments responded to a deceased individual in Fearing Township.

11 Nov 2023 Sgt. McConnell responded to the intersection of US 50 and State Route 339, Belpre Township, to a report of  Wesley E. Johnson threatening a subject while they were the driver of a vehicle, with a screwdriver. Johnson had reportedly stated that if he had a gun he should kill her, then grabbing a screwdriver from inside the vehicle and swinging it at her.  The driver at one point stated Johnson grabbed her arm causing her to swerve over onto the shoulder of the road, where she tried to flag down someone. Johnson had tried to leave in the vehicle, after the driver stopped and got out, however she was able to keep that from happening.  Wesley Eugene Johnson, 2721 Mill Street, Coolville, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with domestic violence. 

11 Nov 2023 Deputy Wallace received a warrant from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office in Bartow County, Georgia, for the arrest of Vonkeith A. Hall, 2110 NW 29^th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL, on charges of Trespassing.  The information was checked with the information provided to booking, finding Hall to be the individual booked into the Washington County Jail.  Hall was given his charges for being a fugitive from justice as well as a copy of the warrant.

Clyde Dewayne Morris, age 44, Malta, OH, domestic violence, 2 counts, and failure to comply, all misdemeanors.

Michael Wayne Grahame, age 44, Marietta, OH, tampering with evidence, a felony, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Tavran Lejuan Garnes, age 24, Columbus, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and disrupting public service, a felony.

Tre Michael Hughes, age 30, Parkersburg, WV, breach of recognizance, burglary, illegal conveyance of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, menacing by stalking, violate a protection order, all felonies, domestic violence, 3 counts, 2 misdemeanor, 1 felony, and violate a protection order, a misdemeanor.

Philip Allen Motley, age 38, Vincent, OH, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.

Vonkeith Antwon Hall, age 33, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Howard Clay McLaughlin, II, age 56, Cutler, OH, breach of recognizance and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.

Wesley Eugene Johnson, age 39, Coolville, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Devan Ray Ruble, age 25, Waterford, OH, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

Mathew Collin Murray, age 24, Elizabeth, WV, failure to comply, a felony.

Jeromie Lee Elschlager, age 23, Walker, WV, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Jenifer Irene Landolfi, age 50, Beverly, OH, assault, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 20 women and 83 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
