3 Nov 2023 a Palmer Township resident brought the above letter and check to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office believing it was a scam. Sgt. Painter phoned the number listed and when advising the subject that answered that he was with the Sheriff’s Office the subject hung up.

It is believed that this is definately a SCAM.
