2 Nov 2023 three 911 hang up calls were received.

2 Nov 2023 deputies conducted residence checks, extra patrol requests, served/attempted to serve civil papers and/or warrants.

2 Nov 2023 the following written/verbal warning(s) for traffic violations:  defective equipment, speed, lights required, lanes of travel, and suspended operator’s license.

2 Nov 2023 deputies checked disabled vehicles, suspicious vehicles and suspicious persons as they were observed and/or reported.

2 Nov 2023 an alarm was answered in Fearing Township.  This was found to be false.

2 Nov 2023 an alarm was answered in Barlow Township.  This was found to be accidental.

2 Nov 2023 deputies assisted the Health Department at a residence in Newport Township.

2 Nov 2023 a report of harassment by an acquaintance was made.  Subjects were advised to cease and desist.

2 Nov 2023 a deputy and K9 assisted the Belpre PD.

2 Nov 2023 a deputy responded to a complaint on an animal in Pioneer Township.

2 Nov 2023 a report of a juvenile assaulting another was made.  Subject’s parents will handle the incident at home.

2 Nov 2023 deputies along with the Little Muskingum VFD, Grandview FD, Reno VFD and Newport FD, along with other fire departments out of the county, were dispatched to a fully involved fire in Ludlow Township.

2 Nov 2023 a report of an ex-spouse yelling at the other was made.  Subjects were advised of DOC charges and to cease and desist.

2 Nov 2023 a report of an accident in a parking lot in Marietta Township was made.

2 Nov 2023 a report was made by a juvenile that her father was yelling at her. 

2 Nov 2023 a report was made that a subject’s identity had been stolen.
