15 Sept a report was made of a subject entering an apartment unlawfully. After checking the scene no evidence was found to confirm entry.
15 Sept CO jail personnel were preparing inmate Daryl R. Lichtenwalter for transport. Lichtenwalter was observed attempting to conceal a silver container in his jacket after changing to street clothes. Corrections Officers asked Lichtenwalter about the container with Lichtenwalter turning the container over to the officer, claiming to have no knowledge of where it came from. The container was turned over to a supervisor who located a bag of crystal like substance weighing approximately .69 grams, consistent with methamphetamine. Lichtenwalter was released to the custody of the agency transporting him. Charges were filed on Lichtenwalter, age 42, 1617 Frederick Avenue SW, Canton, OH, for possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of drugs.
15 Sept an alarm was answered in Muskingum Township. Alarm was accidental.
15 Sept a report was made of a stolen truck from Warren Township. All parties were met with, this is a civil matter.
15 Sept a report of a suspicious vehicle in a pull off was made. The owner was found to be having car trouble.
15 Sept a deputy observed a commercial vehicle partially in the roadway. The vehicle was having mechanical problems, and has been removed from the roadway.
15 Sept a report of items missing from a home in Barlow Township was made. It was later determined to be a landlord/tenant issue. All subjects were advised of their options.
15 Sept a report was made of a subject coming into a residence and removing items of value. This was determined to be a civil matter.
15 Sept deputies attempted an active warrant on file with the Marietta PD. Warrant was confirmed and Daniel Montgomery was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.
15 Sept deputies were called to a residence of a juvenile that would not return home. The issue has been resolved to all parties’ satisfaction.
15 Sept a report was made of a mother taking a child and possible harm coming to the child. Subjects met with a deputy and everyone was fine.
15 Sept a report was made of a male subject with kids in a vehicle, believed to be impaired. The area was checked and the subject could not be located.
15 Sept a check of a vehicle at Lock 18 was made. No one was found around the vehicle.
15 Sept a report was made of dogs crying for days in Adams Township. Follow up was completed.
15 Sept deputies patrolled school zones, served/attempted numerous civil papers and warrants, as well as completed residence checks and/or extra patrol requests.
15 Sept deputies issued written and/or verbal warnings for the following traffic violations: following too close, marked lanes, traffic control device, speed, headlights required, expired registration, ficticoous plates, failure to dim headlights, defective equipment, and driving habits.
15 Sept four 911 hang up calls were received.
16 Sept Deputy Thornberry responded to Belpre Township to a report of items stolen from a vehicle.
16 Sept deputies served/attempted numerous civil papers and warrants, as well as completed residence checks and/or extra patrol requests.
16 Sept deputies issued written and/or verbal warnings for the following traffic violations: traffic control device, improper display, speed, marked lanes, lanes of travel, window tint, and turn signals.
16 Sept five 911 hang up calls were received.
16 Sept Deputy Thornberry began an investigation into brush that was dumped on a building site in Decatur Township.
16 Sept a report was made of a stolen four wheeler. This offense was determined to have occurred in Morgan County.
16 Sept at approximately 1623 hrs. Deputy Schwendeman was patrolling I-77 at the three mile-marker, Fearing Township. A dark-colored pickup truck was observed traveling in the southbound passing lane at a high rate of speed in excess of the posted speed limit. A radar confirmed the speed at 100 mph in the posted 70 mph zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon turning to pursue the vehicle, the brake lights were observed being activated while the deputy was turning around. The traffic stop was conducted near the two mile-marker on the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado with West Virginia temporary registration. The registered owner/driver was identified as Joshua Eric Allan. Allan admitted to speeding, stating he was trying to get home due to an occupant with him not feeling well. Allan admitted he had a suspended license, which was confirmed. Allan, 817 Slate Run Road, Belleville, WV, was issued a citation for driving under suspension, and speed.
16 Sept a report was made of neighbors stealing electricity. The subjects were advised in reference to stealing electricity.
16 Sept a disabled vehicle was checked on I77.
16 Sept a report was made from Fairfield Township of unsafe shooting going on. Neighbors were asked in reference to shooting being heard. No other reporters were located. The deputy sat stationary to determine if the shots could be heard. No shooting was heard or could be located.
16 Sept Deputy Wallace, along with other deputies, were advised that the Ohio State Patrol was en route to the 9mm of I-77 to a report of Shawn Dalrymple ramming the back of a vehicle, trying to run the victim off of the roadway at the 3 mile marker on State Route 821, Muskingum Township, then driving away. The victim had met with Dalrymple earlier and Dalrymple was punching the windows and doors of the victim’s vehicle. The victim left the parking lot to get away from Dalrymple due to being scared of him. Dalrymple then followed the victim and pulled in behind them in a private drive, kicking the doors to the vehicle and attempting to punch a passenger in the vehicle. The victim was able to drive away and upon checking behind them for Dalrymple, he rammed the back of the vehicle, passing the vehicle and striking the driver’s side door/car, in an attempt to force the vehicle off of the roadway. Law enforcement located Dalrymple later in the evening and he was less than cooperative with deputies. Dalrymple admitted to trying to get into the vehicle to get to the passenger however denied ramming the vehicle. Dalrymple’s vehicle told a different story as there was paint transfer and damage consistent with the victim’s statement. The victim’s vehicle also had boot prints and hand prints, consistent with footwear Dalrymple was wearing when approached by deputies. Shawn David Dalrymple, age 39, homeless, was placed under arrest and charged with felony domestic violence.
16 Sept a Dunham Township resident wanted it noted that his mailbox had been damaged.
16 Sept the Ohio State Patrol requested our agency and Beverly PD patrol for a vehicle with an expired tag. No contact was made.
16 Sept a report was made of a dirt bike riding in the roadway. No bike could be located upon patrolling the area.
16 Sept a report was made of Luis Giudice being drunk and refusing to leave a Marietta Township residence. Giudice’s probation officers were contacted and Luis Ricardo NMN Giudice, age 35, was placed under arrest for probation violation.
16 Sept a deputy assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a search on a traffic stop.
17 Sept Deputy Peters was patrolling I77 near the 2 mile marker in Marietta Township. A vehicle was observed driving in the passing lane with no traffic around. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle with Georgia registration. An odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Upon contacting the driver, Tyree Jefferys, he was asked to exit the vehicle, at which time a pat down was conducted. On the Jefferys’ person, Deputy Peters located 71.13 grams of white powdery substance. Tyree Jefferys stated the substance was fentanyl. Tyree D’Sean Jefferys, age 31, 224 Pioneer Street, Akron, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of fentanyl.
17 Sept Deputy Thornberry conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of State Route 555 and State Route 7, for a traffic violation. Kenneth C. Stewart, the driver, LKA: 1218 Brooks Street, Cedartown, GA, was found to have a warrant out of Floyd County, Georgia. The original charge for the warrant was possession of methamphetamine. The personal identifiers of Stewart were checked with the active warrant, finding him to be the wanted subject. Stewart was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was provided a copy of his warrant along with charges for being a fugitive from justice.
17 Sept three 911 hang up calls were received.

17 Sept a deputy assisted the Marietta PD in Pioneer Township.
17 Sept a deputy assisted the Ohio State Patrol with a stop involving juveniles in Pioneer Township.
17 Sept a report was made by a business in Adams Township of a shoplifting incident. The manager only wanted the person trespassed from the property.
17 Sept a report was made of a subject refusing to leave a residence after a verbal argument.
17 Sept a report was made to check the welfare of an individual. Subject was determined to be fine.
17 Sept a report of stolen cash was reported by a resident. A report will be completed later if the victim learns any further information.
17 Sept a deputy and the Little Hocking Fire Department EMS assisted a resident with receiving needed medical attention after a suspected overdose.
17 Sept a report of a vehicle blocking the driveway at a church was made. The owner was contacted and the vehicle moved.
18 Sept a report was made of a truck being hit in a parking lot. Wood County was involved and the victim wished the call to be cancelled as they are fixing the problem themselves.

Kenneth Christopher Stewart, age 40, Chillicothe, OH, fugitive from justice, a felony.
There are currently 21 women and 87 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
