3 Sept 2023 Alisha L Clark, Marietta, OH, was arrested on warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail.
3 Sept 2023 deputies assisted a subject in Muskingum Township regarding a disorderly situation.
3 Sept 2023 Pomeroy PD arrested Stoney Day on our felony warrant. Subject was turned over to WCSO and transported to the Washington County Jail.
3 Sept 2023 a subject in Marietta Township reported a possible theft which was determined to be a civil matter.
3 Sept 2023 a parent would not locate their child at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Areas were checked and the child was later located.
3 Sept 2023 a suspicious vehicle was checked in Ludlow Township, finding the subjects to be camping and everything was fine.
3 Sept 2023 a Lawrence Township resident reported a possible entry into a home. This was checked and believed nothing had been tampered with.
3 Sept 2023 deputies issued the following verbal/written warnings on traffic violations: defective equipment, speed, lanes of travel, fictitious plates, improper turns, license plate light, registration, and traffic control device.

4 Sept 2023 the Ohio State Highway Patrol requested our assistance in Waterford Township.
4 Sept 2023 a Warren Township resident reported a juvenile ran away. Subject was found at a friend’s home and returned.
4 Sept 2023 a welfare check was requested on a Dunham Township resident. Everything was fine.
4 Sept 2023 a theft was reported at a business/auction in Barlow Township. The items were located and returned to the owner.

4 Sept 2023 the following written/verbal warning were given for traffic violations: speed, improper display, distracted driving, marked lanes, following too close, lights required, obstructed plates and traffic control device.
The following individual(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 5 Sept:
Jason Thomas Hauck, age 35, Amelia, OH, theft and theft of a motor vehicle, both felonies.
Mark William Dunn, age 71, Coolville, OH, theft, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 22 women and 90 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
