On July 11, 2023 the United States Marshalls Service, Clarksburg District, completed their annual inspection of the Washington County Jail. 

During this inspection, records, policies and procedures, and physical areas were inspected.  The Federal Inspector interacted with employees, who were professional and knowledgeable in their areas. 

The Washington County Jail was found to be 100 percent compliant.
