11 Aug 2023 Sgt. Painter assisted the Noble County Sheriff’s Office with a stolen vehicle recovered in Washington County.  

12 Aug 2023 Deputy Ullom was on patrol in Belpre Township and observed a driver commit traffic violation(s).  A traffic stop was conducted and a probable cause search revealed a backpack with 51.63 grams of a light purple powdery substance, suspected of being fentanyl.  Isaiah Lamar Conley, age 25, 1627 E Weber Road, Columbus, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated trafficking.   

13 Aug 2023 Deputy Tucker responded to Pineview Drive, Warren Township, to a report of Ryan Butler assaulting another.   An investigation was conducted and determined that Ryan Austin Butler, age 29, 111 Pineview Drive, Marietta, OH, and Rebecca Lynne Waters, age 27, same address, will each be summoned to court on a charge of disorderly conduct.            

14 Aug 2023 A deputy responded to Warren Chapel Road to a report of prowlers on the property.  A female was on the homeowners porch and took off running once the homeowner yelled at them.  The area was patrolled and will continue to be patrolled.  

14 Aug 2023 A welfare check was completed in Adams Township.  All was found to be okay.  

14 Aug 2023 Deputies completed requests for extra patrol and residence checks throughout the day and night, checking vehicles at businesses, etc. to ensure no criminal activity.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy responded to Newport Township in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked at the school since the weekend.  The vehicle was broken down/damaged and will be moved.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy stood by in Blennerhassett Township until a semi blocking the roadway could be moved.   

14 Aug 2023 A deputy was advised of a possible rolling domestic violence.  The subjects were contacted and no criminal activity was observed.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy responded to Dunham Township to a report of a neighbor trespassing on another’s property.  The suspect was warned in reference trespassing charges.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy met with a Fleming, OH, resident in reference to a scam.  This investigation is ongoing.  

14 Aug 2023 A welfare check was completed with deputies in Belpre Township.   

14 Aug 2023 A deputy conducted a welfare check in Watertown.  Subject obtained medical attention on their own.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy conducted a welfare check in Marietta Township.  Everything was found to be okay.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy patrolled the area of Bramblewood Heights for a subject sitting on the concrete divider on State Route 7.  Subject was gone on arrival.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy along with the Little Muskingum VFD and Newport Fire Department responded to Joy Exterminators to a garage file.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at a traffic stop.  OSP will handle any charges.  

14 Aug 2023 Verbal/written warnings were issued for littering, traffic control, lanes of travel, and traffic control device.  

14 Aug 2023 Four 911 hang up calls were received.  Two calls were referred to the Marietta Police Department.  The other two calls were found to be accidental.  

14 Aug 2023 A deputy met with a Marietta Township resident in reference to a theft via debit/credit card(s).  

The following individual(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 14 Aug 2023:  

Kathy Rose Hunter, age 56, Uhrichsville, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor, theft and falsification, both felonies.  

There are currently 21 women and 82 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
