Deputy Eichhorn conducted a traffic stop on Blennerhassett Avenue. After a search of the vehicle it was determined that charges would be pending, after the testing is completed.

Deputies attempted several active warrants.
Deputies responded to Muskingum Township to a tree across the road. Muskingum Township Trustees were also at the scene.
Deputies responded to State Route 550, Warren Township to a suspicious vehicle. No criminal activity was observed. Advised the vehicle could be towed.
Dispatch received a 911 hang up. The caller was found to be in Wood County, WV, and the call was transferred.
Dispatch received a 911 hang up. The caller was found to be at Kroger, Belpre, OH. Belpre PD was advised.
Dispatch received a 911 hang up. The call appeared to be from Salem Township, heavy static on the line. Deputies found several subjects at the location, found the call to be accidental.
Dispatch received a 911 hang up, Muskingum Township. Deputies responded and found the call to be accidental.
Deputies responded to Wesley Township to assist the Clinton County, Ohio, Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies conducted a welfare check of a Salem Township resident. After numerous attempts to phone the subject and check medical facilities the resident was found to be okay, and was unable to charge her phone.
Deputies responded to Watertown Township in reference to a subject throwing a fit at the residence and attempting to lock the homeowner out. The subject was advised of the eviction process. No crime was committed.
Deputies responded to an alarm in Adams Township. No break in occurred, false alarm.
Belpre Township, deputies responded to a subject advising she was “grabbed” by a subject in the home. Subject would not give further information and stated they no longer needed a deputy. Deputies responded and advised the subjects regarding disorderly conduct charges. No physical violence occurred.
Subject in Salem Township reported a stray dog needing to be picked up. The Dog Warden transported the dog to HSOV.
Deputies along with Beverly Waterford Squad responded to Watertown Township. The subject was transported for medical treatment. No criminal activity.
Deputies responded to Waterford Township to a report of harassment. No criminal activity was found to have occurred.
Deputy responded to Decatur Township in reference to a stolen/lost wallet.
Deputies responded to Watertown Township to a report of a child in the roadway. There had been storm damage to a fence, allowing the child to leave the property, however the child is okay.
Deputies responded to Marietta Township to a report of a father striking a child. The incident was discipline related. No criminal activity observed.
Deputies assisted the Beverly Police Department regarding a subject being seen running around in traffic. No contact was made with this subject.
Dispatch received a 911 hang up, Salem Township. Deputies responded and found the call to be accidental.
Deputies responded to Adams Township reference to a trailer in the roadway. The owner was advised to keep the vehicles out of the roadway.
Deputy Windland responded to Decatur Township to take possession of identification documentation from a subject who had just recently purchased the property.

Deputy Thornberry responded to Belpre Township to a report of fishing equipment stolen.
Sgt. Farrell was advised that Christopher William Hicks was scheduled to appear in Washington County Common Pleas Court. A check of Hicks revealed an active warrant out of Wood County, WV, for failure to appear. Personal information on Hicks was compared to the active warrant, finding him to be the subject wanted by Wood County. A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Hicks, 714 Orchard Drive, Ravenswood, WV, and he was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Deputy Schwendeman was dispatched to Par Mar, 4796 State Route 60, Muskingum Township, to a report of Elizabeth Bailey reporting she was assaulted by Danielle Lamp. This was reported to be over how the things were done at the store. Bailey became upset and tried leaving the store with Lamp blocking her way. At one point each subject punched the other. A summons is being requested from Marietta Municipal Court on Danielle L. Lamp, 319 Third Street, Beverly, OH, and Elizabeth M Bailey, 1115 Huck Road, Lowell, OH, for disorderly conduct by fighting.
Sgt. Stillson was patrolling the area of Mitchells Lane and Pike Street when he observed a Black Ford bearing Ohio registration traveling in the left most lane of travel with no cars in front or beside. While traveling behind the vehicle, the vehicle was observed committing traffic offenses. A traffic stop was conducted, identifying the driver as Rebecca J. Smith. Nervous behavior was detected, along with Narcan being observed. Smith exited the vehicle and advised officers could search the vehicle. Located was a snorting straw and residue from fentanyl. A search of the vehicle developed .98 grams of methamphetamines. Rebecca J. Smith, age 51, 39780 Union Avenue, Pomeroy, OH, was transported to the Washington County Jail charged with possession of drugs.

Kaitlyn Nicole Mercer, age 27, Vincent, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Paul Gregory Huston, age 61, Marietta, OH, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a felony.
Christopher Lee Wine, Jr., age 23, Flint, MI, probation violation, a felony and fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.
Joe’Veon Marc Penson Willis, age 21, Akron, OH, trafficking in drugs, 2 counts, both felonies.
Joseph Wesley Myers, age 46, Marietta, OH, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and violating protection order, all misdemeanors.
Howard Clay McLaughlin, II, age 55, Cutler, OH, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.
David Irvin Wolfert, age 44, Lowell, OH, hit skip leaving scene, driving under suspension, failure to control, no seatbelt, and contempt of court, all misdemeanors, possession of drugs, and tampering with evidence, both felonies.
There are currently 21 women and 89 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
