10 Jun 2023 Deputy Eichhorn responded to Mount Tom Road, Marietta Township to investigate the theft of a red box trailer and an off road racing truck. 

10 Jun 2023 Deputy Gainer responded to Dollar General, Barlow Township, to a report of an unknown male, later identified as Jerry Lee Caldwell, walking out of the store with a cart full of items without paying for said items. Deputy Gainer was advised the male was wearing a gray shirt, basketball shorts, sunglasses, and Croc shoes. Caldwell was located at his residence, 2095 Rocky Point Road by Deputy Gainer. Contact was made on the front porch, with Caldwell wearing the same items as mentioned earlier.  Caldwell was read his rights and was advised the best thing for him was to return the items to Deputy Gainer.  The items were collected and returned to Dollar General, which later totaled at $110.55 in merchandise.  Jerry Lee Caldwell, age 69, was placed under arrest and charged with theft.

10 Jun 2023 Deputy Wallace was patrolling SR 676, Warren Township, when she observed a vehicle cross the center line multiple times, being more than half way over the center line on the last violation.  A traffic stop was initiated with the driver identified as Donna Fairchild.  While speaking with Fairchild it was noted that her eyes were glassy and her speech was slow.  There was an odor of alcoholic beverages coming from the vehicle.  When asked if she had been drinking, she advised she had not.  Fairchild was asked to perform SFSTs.  While speaking with Fairchild an odor of alcoholic beverages was detected coming from her person.  The SFSTs were attempted, with Fairchild performing poorly on them.  Fairchild then stated she had one shot of Fireball hours prior.  Donna Jeanne Fairchild, age 55, 445 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and transported for a BAC.  Fairchild refused to test at that time.  Fairchild was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, fictitious license plates and driving in marked lanes.

11 Jun 2023 Deputy Derkin responded to Palmer Township to a report of a theft from a building.  Items taken include plywood and air compressor.

11 Jun 2023 Deputy Eichhorn began an investigation in Grandview Township regarding a stolen laptop. 

12 Jun 2023 Lt. Brown was on patrol in Barlow Township, State Route 339, when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.  A traffic stop was initiated and the driver found to be Bryce Ayers.  A citation was issued to Ayers, 3812 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, OH, for speed.

12 Jun 2023 Sgt. Painter was on patrol in Warren Township, State Route 7, when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The speed was confirmed at 88 mph in a 60 mph zone.  A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was found to be Jessica M. Cremeans, 14 Central Avenue, Athens, OH.  A citation was issued to Cremeans for speed.
