3 Jun 2023 Deputy Harlow responded to Barlow Township in reference to property missing from a safe.
3 Jun 2023 while working the Washington County Jail, officers were advised that inmate Stephen Andrew Cole was brought to WCJ on an active warrant from the Circuit Court of Ritchie County, WV. The warrant was a bond revocation. Cole was identified by his DOB, SSN and physical descriptors, confirming he was the subject of the warrant. A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Stephen Andrew Cole, age 37, 2904 ½ Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH.
4 Jun 2023 Deputy Tucker placed Timothy Allen Thompson under arrest on an active warrant out of Wood County, WV. The warrant was for failure to register as a sex offender, 3 counts. Based on Thompson’s name, SSN and date of birth it was confirmed he was the wanted subject. A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Thompson, age 39, 12720 State Route 676, Waterford, OH.
4 Jun 2023 Deputy Windland responded to Camelot Road, Lot 31, Dunham Township, to a report by EMS requesting a deputy sheriff for assistance. The subject in question was punching a window and possibly engaging in a fight. Mareesa Richards advised Deputy Windland that she was frustrated because no one was coming to the door when she began knocking on the window hard enough to break it. The occupants of the residence informed Deputy Windland that Richards did not live at that residence, however shows up as she pleases causing issues. A summons is being requested for Mareesa Heaven Lyshae Richards, age 20, listing her address as homeless, on a charge of criminal mischief.
4 Jun 2023 while patrolling the area of Maple Street and Franklin Street, Deputy Ullom observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign located at the aforementioned intersection. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle driven by Aaron Sarver, who was found to have a suspended license. A citation was issued to Aaron J. Sarver, 290 Congress Road, Belpre, OH, for driving under suspension.
5 Jun 2023 at approximately 1000 hours Deputy Schwendeman and Sgt. McConnell responded to the area of Dilly Street and Main Street in Aurelius Township. This was in reference to reports of a young child running around wearing only a diaper, with no parents in sight. The child was located at a residence on Main Street where it was being cared for. The child was reported to have been running through the streets and residents were afraid for the safety of the child. The child’s mother was found to be Jessica Warner. Due to the length of time that had passed before the parents of the child were found, Children Services was notified and were responding to the scene.
Jessica admitted the child took off several times the previous evening as well, stating she chased after the child each time, which neighbors confirmed. Jessica said the only reason she did not come looking for the child in this incident was due to being asleep. A summons is being requested for Jessica Lynn Warner, age 35, 141 Dilly Street, Macksburg, OH, on a charge of endangering children.
