25 May 2023 Deputy Young responded along with the Devola Volunteer Fire Department Squad to Muskingum Township in reference to a family dog biting two of the children. 

28 May 2023 Deputy Gainer was dispatched to Warren Township in regards to a teenager assaulting an adult.  Charges of domestic violence will be filed through the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

29 May 2023 Deputy Harlow responded to the 14000 block of State Route 339, Watertown Township, to a suspicious vehicle.  Deputy Harlow approached the driver of the vehicle, finding Levi Gregg asleep at the wheel of the vehicle.  An odor of an intoxicating beverage was immediately detected, emitting from within the vehicle, as well as a strong odor of marijuana. Upon waking Gregg, Deputy Harlow observed his eyes as being bloodshot and watery.  Gregg was advised to shut the vehicle off and exit the vehicle.   Greg’s speech was slurred, and he advised he had been consuming intoxicating beverages within the past couple hours.  A large gallon size bag and a quart size bag of marijuana were observed in plain view behind the front seat of the vehicle. The total weight of both bags was 187.11 grams.  Gregg was placed under arrest and transported to the Marietta Police Department where he was read the BMV form, and a breath test. Gregg refused to provide a breath sample. Gregg was advised he was placed under an administrative license suspension.  Levi NMN Gregg, age 32, 3005 Ross Mayle Lane, Chesterhill, OH, was charged with having physical control of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana and transported to the Washington County Jail.

29 May 2023 Lt. Johnson responded to McDonald Road, Barlow Township, to a female  being assaulted.  Alfred Martin had shown up and began arguing with the victim.  Martin began pushing the victim when he was asked to leave and upon trying to call 911 Martin started trying to take the phone while the phone was dialing. During this altercation, the phone hung up and Martin struck the victim a few different times through the intense struggle, at least once in the right shoulder. The victim was able to block most of the blows.  A warrant was requested and issued for Alfred Henry Martin III, age 36, for domestic violence and disrupting public services.
