22 May 2023 Deputy Derkin began an investigation in Muskingum Township where a resident had over $8,000 fraudulent charges out of his bank account. 

22 May 2023 Deputy Harlow completed a private property accident report for Maria Fisher, Beverly, OH, where her vehicle struck a parked vehicle. 

22 May 2023 Deputy Derkin began an investigation into a Job and Family Services card being used by a subject other than the intended party. 

22 May 2023 Sgt. Stillson was dispatched to Waterford Township in reference to prescription medication being taken and destroyed.

23 May 2023 Sgt. Stillson was dispatched to River Road, Muskingum Township in reference to a subject doing donuts in the parking lot.  Sgt. Stillson met with David Benjamin Goldberg,  Goldberg advised he had done a few donuts.  Goldberg was cited for operation off street or highway in willful or wanton disregard of the safety of persons or property.  

24 May 2023 Deputy Peters was on patrol when he conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with fictitious registration.  The driver, Jassandra C Johnston, was operating the vehicle on a suspended license.  Contact was with Johnston’s probation officers who advised to place Johnston under arrest for probation violation.  Johnston was transported to the Washington County Jail.

24 May 2023 Deputy Eichhorn observed a traffic violation while on patrol on Washington Blvd., Blennerhassett Township.  The driver, Tabib DJ Broomfield, was found to be driving without a valid license due to a failure to reinstate.  A citation for was issued to Broomfield,  2947 Dana Drive, Columbus, OH. 

24 May 2023 at approximately 2100 hours Deputy Davis was on stationary patrol when he observed a male subject riding a bicycle on the roadway without being illuminated.  Deputy Davis stopped this subject and identified him as Chad M. Wilson, who was found to have active warrants out of Belpre P.D.  A search of Wilson revealed a small plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance, consistent with Fentanyl, in Wilson’s pocket.   Wilson, age 37, 2131 Murray Street, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and warrants from Belpre PD.  Wilson was transported to the Washington County Jail.

24 May 2023 Deputy Peters was on station patrol  when he encountered Roxianne Drennen.  As Deputy Peters approached the vehicle he observed wrapped foil.  Deputy Peters approached the driver and was given consent to conduct a search of the vehicle.  The search yielded suspected fentanyl wrapped up in foil where Drennen was sitting in the vehicle.  Drennen, age 34, LKA 57 Dempsie Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs.  Drennen was transported to the Washington County Jail.

There are currently 26 women and 91 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
