19 May 2023 and into the morning of 20 May 2023 Abraham Collazo Sanitz went to the residence of a subject known to him in Reno, Marietta Township.  Santiz and the subject argued.  Santiz did not get what he requested, so he (Santiz) went into a tirade.  At that time Santiz used a large knife to cause damage to drywall, also punching a door with his fist.  This tirade continued through the night, escalating to Santiz shoving the subject to the floor and then picking him/her up by their hair.   The subject was able to run for help and called 911.  Santiz then fled the residence. After Lt. Hornbeck arrived at the residence Santiz returned to the residence and was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.  Santiz, age 35, was transported to the Washington County Jail.

20 May 2023 Deputy Young began an investigation into stolen guns in Marietta Township.

21 May 2023 Deputy Peters was on patrol in Pioneer Township, Washington Street when he observed a traffic violation.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the occupants.  When asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle Tiffany Radabaugh stated she had a bubble on her, (glass smoking pipe). K9 Timmy conducted a sniff around the vehicle at that time and indicated on the driver door.  A search of the vehicle yielded suspected methamphetamine found in property belonging to Radabaugh.  Tiffany R Radabaugh, age 34, 714 Grafton Street, Parkersburg, WV, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs (meth).  Radabaugh was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

21 May 2023 while working at the Washington County Jail, CO Kunze was assaulted by Kelly Jane Farnsworth.  Officers were attempting to move Farnsworth due to her refusing to clean her cell, causing unsanitary conditions. Officers advised Farnsworth to leave all items in the cell as she would be issued clean linens and uniform. Farnsworth had a bath towel on her head and refused numerous commands to remove it.  Officer Kunze removed the towel from her head and Farnsworth immediately turned in an aggressive manner and lunged at Officer Kunze, grabbing his uniform and hand.  Farnsworth was immediately secured.  A charge of assault was filed on Farnsworth, age 35, 609 Elm Street, Apt. B, Belpre, OH. 

There are currently 29 women and 87 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
