We are currently seeking applicants for a Deputy Sheriff position with our Security and Transportation Division. This position requires OPOTA certification.

The Security and Transportation Division is located within the Civil Division of the Sheriff’s Office and maintains the security of the Washington County Courthouse. The officers assigned to this division transport incarcerated individuals to and from court hearings and other correctional facilities. Also, WebCheck backgrounds and applications for Conceal Carry Permits are processed by the S&T Division.

The S&T Deputies primarily work Monday through Friday, during the day, with weekends and holidays off; however they may occasionally be required to work outside this time.
