Today a Marietta resident received a call from a man identifying himself as Officer Baker with WCSO. We do not have an Officer Baker.

They are using a text now app and it appeared he was calling from the courthouse phone number.

Please be aware of these types of scams. The caller tried to obtain personal information however the man he called did not think that was how things were done so he called our office.
