On 16 Mar 2023 Lt Timberman became aware of inmate Jesse Eugene Stoops, 7720 Dowling Road, Perrysburg, OH, having an outstanding warrant for illegal mfg. of drugs and possession of drugs out of Wood County, WV.  Information was checked regarding the warrant and information provided at the time of booking, finding them to be the same subject.  A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Stoops.

On 17 Mar 2023 Deputy Schwendeman began an investigation in Marietta Township regarding a fraudulent check being passed for over $14,000.

Hannah Alyssa James-Rojas, age 24, Parkersburg, WV, petty theft, a misdemeanor.

James Nemo Lee Croston, age 45, Chesterhill, OH, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor and nonsupport of dependents.

Thomas Eugene Stevens III, age 43, Parkersburg, WV, trafficking in drugs, 2 counts both felonies.

William P Huft, age 68, Marietta, OH, trafficking in drugs 3 counts, all felonies, and fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Scotty Lee Newlen, age 32, Sardis, OH, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, a felony, and possession of drugs, a misdemeanor.

Stanley Edward Bowers, age 44, Marietta, OH, probation violation, 2 counts, both felonies.

There are currently 22 women and 84 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
