On 4 Feb 2023 CO Lt. Tucker was advised while working the Washington County Jail that an active warrant was on file from Wood County, WV, for the arrest of Tylor Broc Thomas, age 30, homeless, on a charge of entry into a building other than dwelling, grand larceny and receiving or transferring stolen goods.  Information was compared from the warrant to information given by Thomas when he was booked into the jail, finding them to be a match.  A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Thomas.

On 4 Feb 2023 CO Lt. Tucker was advised while working the Washington County Jail, that an active warrant was on file from Pleasants County, WV, for the arrest of Amanda Wallace, age 28, homeless, on a charge of knowingly or intentionally  possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and making false statements to officer.  Information was compared from the warrant to information given by Wallace when she was booked into the jail, finding them to be a match.  A charge of fugitive from justice was filed on Wallace.

On 4 Feb 2023 Lt. Hunter and Deputy Eichhorn responded to Marietta Township to a report of a runaway.  At the conclusion of the investigation the child was returned home and a summons is being requested for the child for unruly juvenile. 

On 5 Feb 2023 Deputy Peters began an investigation into a stolen catalytic converter being removed from a motorhome that was in storage in Marietta Township.

David William Morris, age 54, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors, and 2 counts aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies.

Madison Elizabeth Donaway, age 24, Parkersburg, WV, theft of a motor vehicle, a felony.

Michael Lee Hammon, age 40, Beverly, OH, making false alarms, a misdemeanor.

Lanisha Michele Dorsey, age 38, Columbus, OH, contempt of court.

There are currently 20 women and 93 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
