NO SHAVE donations

19 Jan 2023 Donations received from NO SHAVE November and December were presented to the Memorial Health Foundation’s Cancer Patient Emergency Fund.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office raised a total of $1,100.00 that will stay local for patients currently in active cancer treatment. Memorial Health Foundation’s Cancer Patient Emergency Fund supports eligible patients who are actively undergoing treatment to maintain the patients’ quality of life and continuity of care.  Assistance includes, but is not limited to, transportation to and from appointments, covering the cost of prescribed medications, bills and necessary dental care. Additionally, a free wig is given to any patient who experiences hair loss due to treatment.

Thanks to all that gave to this wonderful program. Special thanks to Dispatcher Rebecca Miller for all your hard work and support of this program.
