On December 27, 2022, Deputy Aultman began an investigation into an internet scam. Rachel Lada was scammed out of $3,200.00. This case remains under investigation.

December 28, 2022, Deputy Peters conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired license plates. Deputy Peters noticed a strong odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle, he asked the driver if he had anything illegal in his possession. The owner of the vehicle, Jason Fleeman admitted having methamphetamine in the vehicle. After locating the suspected methamphetamine, Deputy Peters placed Jason Fleeman under arrest for possession of drugs. The passenger in the vehicle, Patrick Williams, was found to have an active warrant out of Medina County an arrested on that warrant. Both Fleeman and Williams were transported to the Washington County Jail.

On December 28, 2022, Deputy Schwendeman began an investigation into theft of catalytic converters from company vehicles at Grae-Con Construction. Case remains under investigation.
