On 10 Dec 2022 Deputy Peters began an investigation into storage buildings in Warren Township being entered.

On 12 Dec 2022 Deputy Stillson was dispatched to Berry Lane, Marietta Township, in reference to a home being entered and the intruders being on scene. Deputy Stillson located Mareesa Richards and Trenton McCabe in the home.  The subjects reporting the incident came to check around the property and observed a door barricaded, however they found a window open.  The window had been ajar in the past, however the window was now opened several inches.  Upon gaining entry into the home, Richards and McCabe were located inside.  Richards and McCabe had also taken food and consumed it as well.  Mareesa Heaven Lyshae Richards, age 19, homeless, and Trenton Joshua McCabe, age 20, 731 Glendale Road, Apt. 5, Marietta, OH were both arrested for burglary, a felony of the 2nd degree, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 12 Dec 2022 Deputy Aultman was dispatched to State Route 555, Wesley Township, regarding Isaiah D. Mayle, causing damage to vehicles, and pushing the subject into the wall, causing items to fall and break.  Mayle had left the home prior to law enforcement arriving.  A warrant is being requested for Mayle, age 31, 151 E Hubert Avenue, Lancaster, OH, on a charge of domestic violence and criminal damaging.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 14 Dec 2022:

James Edward Gilles, age 35, Waterford, OH, having weapons while under disability, 2 counts and domestic violence, all felonies.

Destiny Renee Covey, age 30, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a felony.

There are currently 13 women and 89 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
