On 15 Nov 2022 Sgt. Johnson began an investigation into damaged items from a residence in Adams Township.

On 15 Nov 2022 Deputy Davis began an investigation in Wesley Township regarding Josh Beatty having horses that were loose from his property.  A  summons is being requested for Beatty, age 33, 471 Tullius Road, Amesville, OH on a charge of animals at large.

On 15 Nov 2022 Sgt. Johnson was advised of a protection order violation while Jason J. Haught was a Washington County Jail inmate.  Haught had reportedly called the protected party in October.  It was reported that Haught had made three calls to the individual.  Haught has been housed at the Washington County Jail since 13 Oct 2022 and was issued the protection order while incarcerated.  A charge of violating a protection order was filed on Haught, age 42, 499 McGill Road, Vincent, OH.

On 16 Nov 2022 Sgt. McConnell began an investigation into an unruly child in Watertown Township.

On 16 Nov 2022 Deputy Davis began an investigation into possible conveyance into the jail.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 18 Nov 2022 and 19 Nov 2022:

Stewart Waylon Rebell, age 49, Ware, MA, importuning, a felony.

Treasa Lynn Lawrence, age 38, Middleport, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Kelly Jane Farnsworth, age 34, Marietta, OH, making false alarms, a misdemeanor.

Donte Julius Taylor Branch, age 29, Marietta, OH, probation violation and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

Tyler Anthony Ridgeway, age 24, Marietta, OH, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Steven Michael Stoops, age 49, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor and having weapons while under disability, both felonies.

There are currently 12 women and 99 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
