The vehicle was found registered to a subject and the individual working on the vehicle identified himself as a different subject, Kevin Williams.  Williams was asked why he was at this residence and he stated he thought his friend Jake lived here however he did not know his last name.  Williams was asked for identification.  A knife sheath was observed attached to Williams’ belt. When asked if Williams had any weapons, other than his knife on him, he pointed towards the road and then dropped his identification. Williams was then asked what he was on, and he advised “I just smoked bud, it’s in there”, and he pointed to the vehicle.  Williams attempted to explain who he was there to see, and with the names provided it was determined he was talking about a family that live on Sealy Ridge.  Williams was advised he was not on Sealy Ridge and he stated “huh”, and appeared confused.  Williams was detained and a pat down completed prior to placing him in the patrol vehicle.  When asked again about any weapons that I needed to know about he advised he had a “little tiny pistol over here”.    Lt. Parks located a Titan .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol with one round in the chamber, and the magazine with one round as well.  A check of the serial number revealed that the first several letters/numbers had been removed.  Williams was also in possession of an opened pack of Sonoma cigarettes containing two small packages.  One of the packages was a piece of folded notebook paper, and the second was a foil gum wrapper inside of cellophane, both containing several small pieces of methamphetamine.  The side pocket of the driver side door revealed a leather ankle holster with three blunts of marijuana. Kevin Andrew Williams, age 34, 1308 Williamson Avenue, Apt. 1F, New Matamoras, OH, was placed under arrest for weapons under disability, possessing a defaced firearm, possession of a controlled substance, trespassing, and possession of a controlled substance.  Williams was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
