On 24 Oct 2022, Deputy Schwendeman responded to the Washington County Home to investigate a possible theft which appeared to be unfounded.
On 26 Oct 2022, while patrolling in Warren Township, Sgt. Painter observed a vehicle in the parking lot of Tunnel Mini Storage with two individuals outside the vehicle. One of the subjects was entering an open storage unit. Due to the late hour and the frequency of break-ins and thefts at this storage unit, Sgt. Painter made contact with these subjects, who he had dealt with the prior week. He identified these subjects as Jordan Beebe, age 32, and Michael Lewis, age 33, both of Fleming, Ohio. Jordan rents one of the storage units, however the one which was open was not hers. They were asked if they had been in the open unit and denied entering it, stating it was open when they arrived. During a consensual search of the vehicle, a purse was located with foil packs containing a crystal-like substance and another with burnt residue. Other items which were located in the vehicle were of salvage nature as well as some collector’s monetary items. Jordan and Michael were placed under arrest and transported to Washington County Jail. Jordan was charged with possession of drugs and complicity to breaking and entering and Michael was charged with breaking and entering.
