On 1 Sept 2022 Deputy Tullius responded to Little Bear Creek, Adams Township, to an assault complaint.  Keith Whealdon was involved in a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation.  After completing the investigation it was determined that Keith Tyler Whealdon, age 29, 5355 State Route 26, Marietta, would be arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for assault and theft.

On 2 Sept 2022 Deputy Davis began an investigation into a theft in Belpre Township.

On 3 Sept 2022 Deputy Gainer began an investigation in Barlow Township in reference to a temporary tag being stolen.

On 4 Sept 2022 deputies were dispatched to Washington Street, Waterford Township in reference to Chico Mason and a female fighting at this location.  The female stated that Mason was angry with her slammed her to the ground and got on top of her.  Mason then placed his hand over her mouth however she was able to bite him and get away.  Mason’s version of events were much different.  Chico Maurice Mason, age 47, 132 Washington Street, Waterford, OH, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.  At the jail Mason blew  .145 on the PBT.

Charles Ameche Cox, Jr., age 24, Fairlawn, OH, receiving stolen property, a felony, and open container, a misdemeanor.

Slone Jack Lang, age 27, Waterford, OH, breaking and entering, a felony.

Chico Maurice Mason, age 47, Waterford, OH, domestic violence, a felony.

There are currently 25 women and 84 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.
