On 11 Jul 2022 Deputy Dolly began an investigation into a catalytic converter stolen from a vehicle in Dunham Township.

On 11 Jul 2022 Det. Brown responded to a report of a sexual assault which occurred on in Waterford Township.  Det. Brown completed his investigation, meeting with the victim and suspect to complete the investigation.  Security cameras were able to capture the incident which Thomas Turner initially denied.  Turner later admitted to the allegations.  Turner advised he had taken the video storage device out from where it normally was located.  Thomas H. Turner, 19509 SR 339, Waterford, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office charged with sexual imposition and tampering with evidence. 

On 11 Jul 2022 Deputy Harlow began an investigation into stolen items/tools from a garage in Fairfield Township.

On 11 Jul 2022 Deputy Young was dispatched to Beverly, Waterford Township, to a report of a violation of a protection order. After completing the investigation Benjamin David Cunningham, 125 Hayesville Road, Waterford, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.  During the intake process Cunningham was asked if he had any contraband in/or on his body and he advised no.  A one dollar bill  was located folded up containing a white crystal powder.  When asked what the powder was Cunningham stated “Adderall or meth.” Cunningham was charged with violating a protection order and illegal conveyance into a correctional facility.
