WCSO NEWS RELEASES – 14 JUN 2022


On 7 Jun 2022 Deputy Wallace responded to Muskingum Township in reference to a financial scam.

On 8 Jun 2022 Deputy Dolly responded to Lockhart Street, Belpre, to a report of threats and financial abuse by Kevin Lockhart.  Deputy Dolly met with subjects reference the investigation.  At the conclusion of the investigation Kevin Jay Lockhart, age 61, 97 Lockhart Street, Belpre, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with felony theft, domestic violence, and aggravated menacing.  Lockhart was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 8 Jun 2022 Sgt. Brown was dispatched in reference to a custody complaint.  The individuals were to meet to exchange a juvenile, however the exchange did not occur. 

On 9 Jun 2022 Deputy Dolly began an investigation into a toolbox being stolen from Barlow Township.  The box contained numerous breakers, switches, wiring, and other items.

On 10 Jun 2022 Sgt. Johnson began an investigation in Barlow Township reference to a burglary.   

On 11 Jun 2022 Deputy Peters was dispatched to Handschumacher Road, to a suspicious vehicle.  Contact was made with the driver, Keith A. Drake.  Drake reported he had run out of gas.  A bottle of alcohol was observed along with a white powdery substance, which was reported to be meth.  Keith A Drake, age 35, 3749 Bells Run Road, Newport, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs. 

On 11 Jun 2022 Lt. Hunter began an investigation in Muskingum Township in reference to a stolen 1972 Chevrolet pick-up truck.      

On 11 Jun 2022 Deputy Peters began an investigation in to a breaking and entering in Marietta Township.

On 11 Jun 2022 Deputy Wallace was dispatched to Main Street, Adams Township to a report of a fight.  Lowell Adams squad was on scene and provided aid.  The subject of interest was found at his residence, Joseph Fielder.  Fielder stated a verbal fight began due to the victim’s speed through the neighborhood.  Fielder approached the subject and words were exchanged prior to his arrival on the victim’s property.  Fielder stated he defended himself after being pushed and kicked.  The victim acknowledged the verbal fight in the roadway, however he attempted to get away from Fielder and slipped in the grass where Fielder then began punching him in the face.  Joseph Andrew Fielder, age 42, 184 Third Street, Lowell, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with felonious assault.

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 13 June 2022:

Mitchell Lee Greenwood, age 36, Newport, OH, domestic violence, a felony,  and 2 counts assault, both misdemeanors.

Kristina Dawn Kirkbride, age 44, Williamstown, WV, no seat belt passenger, a misdemeanor.

Shawn David Dalrymple, age 38, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Jason Wayne Allman, Vincent, OH, burglary 2 counts, complicity 2 counts, breaking and entering and theft 2 counts, all felonies.

There are currently 26 female inmates and 82 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
