On 22 May 2022 Deputy Young began an investigation in Lawrence Township regarding a Ford F250 truck stolen from Lane Pipeline.  The vehicle has been recovered.

On 23 May 2022 Deputy Harlow began an investigation into a subject urinating on a vehicle.  Noah Allen Schmidt was observed intentionally urinating on the rear tire/wheel area of a vehicle.  Schmidt, age 18, 1125 State Route 530, Lowell, OH, will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of criminal mischief.

There are currently 22 female inmates and 78 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
