WCSO NEWS RELEASES – 10 MAY 2022


On 4 May 2022 Deputy Wallace was dispatched to 15 Arrowhead Road, Belpre Township.  It was reported that Whitney Ann Boyd was hitting a vehicle door and trying to gain entry.  Boyd stated she met Dustin Church at the location to talk to her children.  After completing the investigation, it was determined that Boyd, age 27, 3919 Tommy Bond Road, Coolville, OH, would be placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence.

On 4 May 2022 Deputy Painter was dispatched to Calder Ridge Road, Belpre Township, to a 911 call received in Wood County, WV.  It was reported that Anthony Lawrence was threatening to shoot his mother.   Lawrence was heard yelling obscenities at his mother and wanting her to come pick him up.  Lawrence also replied that he didn’t care about the cops being involved.  After completing the investigation Anthony Lewis Lawrence, age 23, homeless, was placed under arrest and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 counts of domestic violence.

On 5 May 2022 Sgt. Johnson began an investigation into a stolen license plate in Belpre Township.

On 6 May 2022 Sgt. Brown began an investigation into a counterfeit bill passed in Muskingum Township.

On 7 May 2022 Deputy Tullius began an investigation into a scam/theft of $100 through a Pay Pal purchase. 

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 9 May 2022:

Quinton Leroy Kovaleski, age 38, McConnelsville, OH, contempt of court, a felony, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

David William Ramage II, age 52, Newport, OH, using weapons while intoxicated and OVI, both misdemeanors.

There are currently 33 female inmates and 65 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
