On 10 Mar 2022 Deputy Tornes was advised that Jessica Stevens’ K9 had left the property at 723 Eighth Street, Marietta, attacking a neighbor’s dog.   A summons is being requested for Jessica Lynn Stevens, Marietta, OH, on a charge of failing to restrain her dog.

On 20 Mar 2022 Deputy Tornes was advised that Krystal Smith’s dogs had been dropped off at the shelter as a stray from the City of Marietta.  Attempts to contact Smith met with negative results.  A summons will be requested for Krystal Smith, on a charge of failure to control her dog.

On 17 and 19 Mar 2022 Deputy Tornes received complaints regarding two dogs running loose from a Morningside Drive, Marietta Township, address, and acting aggressive towards neighbors.  Deputy Tornes met with the owner, who advised they were fostering one of the dogs, and her dog would follow the other dog when it ran off.  A summons is being requested for Catherine Ann Bigley, 109 Morningside Drive, Marietta, OH, on a charge of failing to restrain her dog.

On 26 Mar 2022 Deputy Young met with Dalton Ball, Marietta, OH, in reference to his stolen Kia Optima.  The vehicle was later recovered, crashed in Wood County, WV.

On 27 Mar 2022 deputies responded to Rummer Road, Warren Township, to a report of possible violence.  Lindsey Pottmeyer and Jarrod Schultheisz were involved in an argument, with Jarrod becoming upset and throwing a gaming console against the wall.   Both subjects then struck the other.  Both subjects admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages this evening. A summons for disorderly conduct will be requested for Lindsey Suzanne Pottmeyer and Jarrod B. Schultheisz, Rummer Road Marietta, OH. 

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 29 Mar 2022:

Andrea Lee Sees, age 28, Parkersburg, WV, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl, both felonies, criminal damage, breach of recognizance and possession of drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors.

Jason Joe Haught, age 42, Belpre, OH, probation violation, a felony.

Daryl Eugene Moore, age 43, New Matamoras, OH, contempt of court.

Kirk Russell Slider, age 28, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 18 female inmates and 85 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
