On 23 Mar 2022 Deputy Davis began an investigation in Dunham Township regarding identity fraud.

On 23 Mar 2022 Deputy Wallace began an investigation into a possible assault in Dunham Township.

On 24 Mar 2022 Deputy Aultman was dispatched to Haynes Road, Belpre Township to a report of Jared Long assaulting an individual.  Long became angry with the subject, arguing and then becoming physical, at which time Long punched the subject multiple times.   Long had left the area and was located and interviewed.   Jared Richard Long, age 25, 36384 New Hope Road, Long Bottom, OH, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of assault.  

The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 28 Mar 2022:

Natasha Katherine Dunn, age 32, Bellaire, OH, possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

Ariana Sue Byrd, age 30, Vienna, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

Eric Dean Barth, age 25, parole violation, a felony.

Tobias NMN Gregg, age 21, Chesterhill, OH, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a felony.

There are currently 19 female inmates and 81 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
