On 9 Mar 2022 Deputy Painter issued a citation for speed to Anna M. Fowler, 27237 Huckleberry Road, Coolville, OH, for 79 mph in a 60-mph zone; and Brett K States, 3436 Buck Run road, Mineral Wells, WV, for 74 mph in a 60-mph zone, and fictitious plates.    

On 9 Mar 2022 Deputy Wallace began an investigation into a financial scam.

On 10 Mar 2022 Deputy Painter began an investigation at the Dough Boy’s Pizza in Muskingum Township.  A customer returned to the store unhappy with their service/purchased items, requesting a refund.  The customer was told they would not give them a refund with the female, identified as Misty West, reaching into the tip jar and removing money from the jar and then leaving the store.   The employee went after the female and ended up in the vehicle with her when she fled the parking lot.  The employee and another occupant pled with Misty to return her to the store, which she did.  Attempts to talk with Misty West met with negative results.  A warrant was requested for West, 21460 State Route 550, Amesville, OH, on a charge of theft, kidnapping and robbery.
