On 21 Feb 2022 deputies responded to Lakewood Road, Palmer Township to a report of John Brenton McCutcheon coming to the residence to harm a resident. After completing the investigation, it was determined that McCutcheon, age 35, 259 South Main Street, McConnelsville, OH, would be arrested and charged with domestic violence and menacing. McCutcheon was processed into the Washington County Jail.
On 21 Feb 2022 Sgt. Brown began an investigation into subjects being disorderly in the Belpre Township area.
On 23 Feb 2022 Deputy Stillson began an investigation in Waterford Township regarding a stolen laptop.
On 23 Feb 2022 Deputy Painter began an investigation into a stolen trailer and other equipment in Palmer Township.
On 24 Feb 2022 Lt. Gherke was advised that Wood County, WV, authorities were in pursuit of a vehicle headed towards the Blennerhassett bridge. The vehicle entered Washington County and headed south on US 50, stopping at the Par Mar on Arrowhead Road. The driver, Isreal Lee Crumpton, age 27, 4242 Maryland Street, Detroit, MI, was apprehended and charged with being a fugitive from justice. Crumpton was processed into the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Feb 2022 Deputy Peters responded to the Lowell Duke, Adams Township, to a report that Dillon Ankrom had stolen an energy drink and a sandwich valued at $ 8.78 on two separate occasions. Video surveillance was viewed and Ankrom, age 21, 304 Third Street, Lowell, OH, was arrested for theft, and outstanding warrants. Ankrom was transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Feb 2022 while completing another investigation, Deputy Peters was notified of a stolen lottery ticket. After completing the investigation Deputy Peters filed for a summons against Ashley D. Parsons, age 39, 304 Third Street, Lowell, OH, on a charge of theft.
The following subject(s) were processed into the Washington County Jail 28 Feb 2022:
William Elliot Nickles, 30, OVI Alcohol, improper lane usage and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors.
Daniel Blake Debellis, 38, Parkersburg, WV, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
There are currently 14 female inmates and 80 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
