On 1 Feb 2022 Deputy Painter was dispatched to Belpre Township, to a report of a male subject passed out in a vehicle.  Upon arriving and investigating the situation, Deputy Painter requested a summons be issued for Mitchell A. Tabler, 1225 Robert Kelly Road, Cutler, OH, on charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, fictitious registration, and driving under suspension.

On 2 Feb 2022 a financial scam was investigated by Deputy Tullius. 

On 5 Feb 2022 Lt. Hunter began an investigation into a possible child endangering.

Amy Suzzanne Books, 35, Marietta, OH, possession of fentanyl, a felony.

Shaquille Marquis Dawkins, 28, Akron, OH, possession of drugs, a felony.

Stephen Chaz Vansickle, 38, Long Bottom, OH, nonsupport of dependents.

Christopher Lee Caldwell, 40, Little Hocking, OH, speed, driving under OVI suspension, OVI alcohol, open container, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, all misdemeanors.

There are currently 15 female inmates and 76 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
